How to Make a Rabbet Joint
A rabbet joint (pronounced Rabbit Joint, or Rebate Joint) is one of the most basic woodworking joints. The great thing is that it is also extremely easy to make with a variety of tools.
My personal favorite way to make a Rabbet Joint is with my Table saw, but you can use a hand plane, a handheld router, or a router table to make this joint.
